Rental period

Rental will start at 4.00pm on the day of arrival and end at 11.00am on the day of departure, unless previously agreed with Casas Vejer. Casas Vejer will need to know your exact arrival time to arrange keys etc., especially if you plan to arrive late in the evening.

Number of persons

Without the permission of Casas Vejer the number of persons staying in the accommodation will not exceed the number stated on your rental agreement otherwise extra costs will be taken in account.

Reservation and payment

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking within 8 days of written confirmation, otherwise the booking will be taken as provisional only, with the possible inability to reinstate the reservation. Full payment must be made 6 weeks prior to arrival – otherwise booking will be deemed as cancelled and deposit forfeited. Methods of payment will be discussed on confirmation of booking. In the case of last minute reservations, we request full balance payment immediately upon confirmation of booking. Changes in rental accommodation and / or change of holiday dates are considered by us as a cancellation (see cancellation details). Prices are in Euros and in accordance with those on our website at the date of booking. They relate to the current year. Prices for the following year are available on request. All prices are per accommodation, per night and include the use of gas (if applicable), water and electricity.

Deposit

We request a deposit of € 150, – The deposit will be refunded two weeks after departure, minus damages costs, if any.

Animals and children

We regret that we cannot accommodate animals in our accommodations in Vejer. Children under 14 should not be left in the property unaccompanied by an adult (18 years or over) at any time. The house will be clean on arrival and a change of sheets and towels will be provided each week (if applicable). We ask that you leave the property in the same conditions as when you arrived and that any breakages are either replaced or paid for by you.

Responsibilities of the tenant

During the whole rental period the tenant is responsible for the accommodation and all matters belonging to it. We would like to point out that we do not allow smoking in the accommodation. On the day of your departure a representative of Casas Vejer will pick up the key and check the accommodation. We ask you to leave the apartment as you found it: organised and the washing-up done. Any damage to the property must be reported to Casas Vejer immediately.

Cancellation by tenant

Cancellations must be made by e-mail. We will confirm cancellation by email and inform you of the cancellation fees, if any. Depending on the time of cancellation, the following cancellation policy applies after the 50% deposit has been paid and booking is taken as confirmed:

Until 6 weeks prior to the rental period: deposit for rent is forfeited. Less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period: full rent is forfeited. If the tenant, by whatever circumstances, will arrive later or leave earlier he has no right to proportional deduction of rent.

The above is at the discretion of Casas Vejer.

Cancellation by Casas Vejer

If circumstances force the landlord to cancel the booking, the tenant will be informed immediately. If possible an alternative will be offered and the difference in rent will be refunded (less expensive alternative) or invoiced (expensive alternative). When not accepted or Casas Vejer cannot offer an alternative, we will refund the amount already paid.

Complaints

Despite all our efforts and precautions, it is possible that you think you have a legitimate complaint. This complaint must, as far as possible, be made by telephone or sent to us by e-mail. Rural inconveniences such as power cuts, insects, dogs barking, roosters crowing in the campo or noisy neighbours are no reason for complaint. Leaving to another holiday accommodation without consultation of Casas Vejer causes total loss of all rights to compensation or reimbursement.

Cleaning

We change the bedsheets and towels every week (when staying longer than a week) We ask you to leave the apartment as you found it: organised and the washing-up done. On confirmation of your reservation we will also bring the end-cleaning into account (25€ for apartment Mirlo 40€ for Casa Flamenco)

If you would like an extra cleaning during your stay, we are happy to arrange this for you (12€/hour).
